About the role

  • Analyst contributing to structured finance credit analysis, cash flow modeling, and client communication. Working collaboratively with cross-functional teams while reviewing transaction documentation in Colorado offices.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as primary analyst on structured finance ABS transactions, performing end-to-end credit analysis, cash flow modeling, and presenting findings to rating committees
  • Lead analytical work on innovative and complex ABS structures while maintaining consistency with S&P's rating criteria and analytical approaches
  • Collaborate with cross-functional analytical teams across different practices and regions to deliver comprehensive rating solutions for esoteric transactions
  • Review legal and operating documents for transaction consistency, provide structured feedback to external parties, and manage client relationships
  • Contribute to knowledge sharing through training initiatives, market commentaries, podcasts, and webinars to enhance S&P's market presence

Requirements

  • Minimum 3+ years of experience in structured finance and credit analysis with demonstrated expertise in ABS transactions
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Business, or related field from an accredited institution
  • Strong proficiency with financial modeling tools such as Excel and experience with cash flow analysis and modeling
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities with ability to assess new asset and structural risks within rating frameworks
  • Proven ability to multi-task, manage deadlines under pressure, and work collaboratively in team environments.
