About the role
- Join Pennon Water Services as a Data Analyst driving data-driven recovery solutions. Analyze trends and support outstanding payments recovery with insights and reporting, in a hybrid work environment.
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain all commercial debt recovery reporting.
- Provide data analysis and insight to support the recovery of outstanding customer payments contributing to the financial viability of PWS.
- Assist management in monitoring collections performance throughout the month.
- Proactively monitor collection strategies through reporting and account level auditing.
- Support the production of management reporting on a daily, weekly, and monthly basis.
- Identifying trends in productivity and operations to maximise and drive performance.
- Support the production of performance scorecards relating to collections performance.
- Through the data analysis, proactively identify processes that could be made more effective and/or efficient.
- Deliver performance overview updates to key stakeholders via regular meetings.
- Provide overall assistance to the Data Team on any data related queries
Requirements
- Demonstrate you are capable in managing billing/financial related data
- Experience in data analysis, including SQL and Power BI
- Experience of leading actions within teams
- Data analysis and the ability to identify anomalies
- Evidence you have excellent oral and written communication skills
- Demonstrate excellent ability to correct errors
- Proven ability to identify improvement actions and enable their delivery
- Ability to constructively challenge accepted thinking and methods by generating and embracing innovative ideas.
