About the role
- Network Engineer supporting Network and Security operations in Solvay's Digital Technology. Collaborate across global sites and manage regional needs in network and security delivery.
Responsibilities
- Supporting Network and Security operations at the regional level and bringing the business needs to the Global organization and supporting the local site network and security delivery and evolution.
- Proactively monitoring dashboards and alerts.
- Managing the Local Network and Security inventory for specific services, and managing technical documentation.
- Support Service Owners in coordinating local deployments (Planning and Execution).
- Collaborating and designing solutions in order to respect local regulations and needs.
- Conducting regular network assessments to identify and mitigate potential vulnerabilities.
Requirements
- Relevant education degree or equivalent in Network Engineering, Information Technology, or a comparable field.
- Relevant (Min 5 year) work experience in Network Design or Network Operations Management.
- Experience with Network and security Troubleshooting.
- Experience in deployment - project implementations.
- Experience with Manufacturing/Industrial/Chemical-centered environments.
- Network expertise in Cisco LAN, WLAN, and Palo Alto environments (Firewall and SDWAN).
