Network Engineer supporting Network and Security operations in Solvay's Digital Technology. Collaborate across global sites and manage regional needs in network and security delivery.
Responsibilities
Supporting Network and Security operations at the regional level and bringing the business needs to the Global organization and supporting the local site network and security delivery and evolution.
Proactively monitoring dashboards and alerts.
Managing the Local Network and Security inventory for specific services, and managing technical documentation.
Support Service Owners in coordinating local deployments (Planning and Execution).
Collaborating and designing solutions in order to respect local regulations and needs.
Conducting regular network assessments to identify and mitigate potential vulnerabilities.
Requirements
Relevant education degree or equivalent in Network Engineering, Information Technology, or a comparable field.
Relevant (Min 5 year) work experience in Network Design or Network Operations Management.
Experience with Network and security Troubleshooting.
Experience in deployment - project implementations.
Experience with Manufacturing/Industrial/Chemical-centered environments.
Network expertise in Cisco LAN, WLAN, and Palo Alto environments (Firewall and SDWAN).
