About the role
- Test Analyst ensuring software quality for SGI Sistemas by planning and executing manual tests. Collaborating with cross-functional teams to guarantee the success of retail management applications.
Responsibilities
- Plan and execute manual tests on implemented features and applications
- Evaluate and select tools and strategies for test execution
- Ensure software quality throughout the development lifecycle
- Produce clear documentation of features and test results
- Perform API testing using Postman or similar tools
- Support the team in applying BDD best practices (Gherkin scenarios)
- Integrate and collaborate with cross-functional teams (developers, analysts, QA)
- Assist in validating business rules related to accounting/finance when applicable
Requirements
- Experience as a Test Analyst
- Knowledge of manual testing and regression testing
- Ability to estimate and prioritize tests
- Good communication and teamwork skills
- Familiarity with agile practices (Scrum, Kanban)
- Basic knowledge of CI/CD
- Knowledge of ERP systems or accounting/tax processes is a plus
