About the role
- Quality Engineer ensuring compliance in aerospace projects, leading audits and design assurance implementation for aviation products.
Responsibilities
- Lead and ensure compliance of design activities with EASA PART 21J and PART 21G requirements
- Participate in the implementation and monitoring of the Design Assurance System (DAS)
- Conduct internal and external audits (OSAC, EASA) and follow up on corrective actions
- Ensure standards and regulatory compliance (CS/JAR-25, ISO, EN9100) and regulatory requirements (EASA, DOA, POA, MOA)
- Support certification activities, independent surveillance (DOA Independent Monitoring) and document management (DOID)
- Collaborate with project teams to ensure product airworthiness
Requirements
- Master’s degree or equivalent (engineering school or university degree)
- Minimum 5 years' experience in a similar role
- Experience in the aerospace industry
- Proficiency with regulatory frameworks: EASA PART 21J/G, PART 145, CS/JAR-25, ISRO, DAC, DAN, DSCM
- Experience in quality auditing, regulatory and standards compliance
- In-depth knowledge of quality management systems (QMS), BMS processes, ISM
- Proficient in quality tools: PFMEA, AMDEC, 8D, Control Plan
- Significant experience in a DOA/POA environment
- Quality certifications (EN9100, ISO 9001, etc.) appreciated
- Operational proficiency in English required
