About the role
- Financial Lead providing analytic support in capital investment analysis at South Jersey Industries. Focusing on risk evaluation, strategic modeling, and investment optimization.
Responsibilities
- Provide analytic support to capital investment analysis and review, risk identification and evaluation as well as finance performance
- Build and maintain the SJI strategic operating model (5-year plan) working closely with business partners and other finance teams
- Support investments and acquisitions to grow our portfolio of development-stage and operating assets
- Conduct financial modeling to assess risk and return of potential investments, transaction diligence, strategizing on how to optimize investments, deal structuring, and market intelligence monitoring
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree with 8 years of relevant experience, or; Master’s degree with 6 years of relevant experience
- Ability to be within a commutable distance to Folsom, NJ to attend important meetings/events as needed
