- Help unlock the value of data by defining, building, and maintaining robust data pipelines for high-value data products.
- Ensure that data flows efficiently across various systems, enabling stakeholders to access timely and accurate insights.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Data Engineer or in a similar role, with a strong understanding of data engineering principles and practices
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to work with large, complex datasets.
- In-depth understanding of components required for pipeline development (i.e. Delta Lake, Unity Catalog, Databricks SQL, Pyspark and Azure Data Factory)
- Proficiency in SQL and extensive experience in developing and optimizing notebooks for data processing, analysis and ML.
- Strong understanding of Delta Lake features (ACID transactions, schema enforcement, time travel, DML operations and Z-ordering.
- Knowledge of data security best practices and compliance requirements.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to work collaboratively across teams.
- A degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
Benefits
