About the role

  • Accounting Analyst supporting cooperative groups with financial insights and decision-making. Focusing on data analysis and effective communication with financial institutions.

Responsibilities

  • Support a group of cooperatives, assisting with everything from accounting questions to studies, analyses, and proposing alternatives for decision-making;
  • Perform analyses of accounting data, including fluctuations in balance sheet and income statement accounts, identifying patterns, trends, and inconsistencies;
  • Prepare, monitor, and execute monthly, semiannual, and annual accounting close processes;
  • Lead the profit allocation/distribution process;
  • Develop and analyze accounting operational indicators, dashboards, and reports (including weekly and monthly summaries), contributing to a systemic view of the cooperatives;
  • Support internal trainings and trainings for cooperatives, translating technical topics into clear, data-driven language;
  • Serve as the Reference Analyst for State Centrals, consolidating information, validating data, and providing technical guidance.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Business Administration, Economics, or related fields;
  • Experience providing customer service and technical support;
  • Intermediate Excel (knowledge of Databricks and Power Query/Power BI is desirable);
  • Knowledge of accounting for financial institutions;
  • Good communication, responsiveness, and a sense of urgency.
  • It is desirable for this opportunity that you have:
  • Experience at a financial institution;
  • Familiarity with agile methodologies;
  • Experience with accounting data analysis and performance indicators;
  • Experience with more than one type of financial product;
  • Advanced analytical skills and ease building professional relationships.
