About the role
- User Experience Design Intern creating engaging software applications for Shure. Collaborating on product requirements and design solutions while leveraging user-centered methodologies.
Responsibilities
- Contribute to design projects from their inception to launch – and beyond
- Collaborate with product managers on product requirements
- Work independently and in collaboration with other stakeholders
- Leverage rapid prototyping and customer interaction to make informed design decisions
- Meet with end users to assess and document user needs and use-cases
- Contribute to high level design patterns and specifications
Requirements
- Working towards a BA or MA in HCI or related program
- Skilled at UX design
- Fundamental understanding of software
- Competent-to-expert knowledge of design & documentation tools such as Axure, Adobe CC, Figma, Abstract
- Knowledge of HTML5, CSS, Javascript, Angular JS and other web libraries
- Experience with products for audio or AV/IT professionals is preferred
- A portfolio of work samples is required
