Responsibilities
Maintain organized and up-to-date financial records and documents
Process accurately the day-to-day transactions of accounts payable and accounts receivable
Preparation of billing and collection reports
Preparation of bank reconciliation reports
Assistance on month-end/year-end closing
Assistance on internal and external audit
Communicate and coordinate with external parties, such as vendors, government agencies, other professional organizations, and etc.
Assistance in compliances related to internal company policies and external requirements of government agencies (such as PEZA, BOI, BIR, and etc.)
Support administrative functions
Collaborate with internal and external teammates
Contribute to process improvement initiatives for better operations
Perform any other ad-hoc tasks assigned by manager
Requirements
Minimum educational attainment of a bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or other related fields
Previous experience on accounting and government agency/tax compliance, preferably in an audit/accounting firm that has worked with local clients
Knowledgeable in accounting principles, financial concepts, tax, and other government rulings
Proficient in the use of accounting tools and platforms such as QuickBooks, Microsoft Excel, Spreadsheets, and government websites such as EFPS, E-BIR, SSS, PhilHealth, and HDMF
Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English
Willing to work in a hybrid work arrangement
