About the role

• Applikationsingenieur für die Zementindustrie zuständig für Kundenbeziehungen, Marktanalysen, und technische Beratung. Arbeiten und Projekte in Zusammenarbeit mit Produktionswerken.

Responsibilities

• Actively expand the customer base in the cement industry and establish and maintain long-term partnerships
• Identify new projects with end customers and OEMs and carry out market analyses
• Plan and design competitive drive solutions in close cooperation with our manufacturing plants
• Provide technical and commercial advice to customers and our international sales subsidiaries
• Initiate marketing activities such as trade shows, social media posts and brochures
• Represent the company in technical committees and conduct training sessions

Requirements

• Degree in Mechanical Engineering or a comparable qualification; alternatively further training as a technician / master craftsman
• Professional experience in maintenance, application engineering, or technical sales
• Industry knowledge of the cement sector or its suppliers is an advantage
• Knowledge of industrial drive technology is an advantage
• Strong communication skills, customer orientation, and self-initiative
• Willingness to travel internationally and good German and English language skills
