About the role

  • Align the development team with established application architecture standards.

  • Define and document non-functional requirements, including performance, availability, and recoverability.
  • Assess technical impacts early in the process and recommend optimized design approaches to streamline development.
  • Produce technical design documents, database structures, and application architecture for mid-to-high complexity systems.
  • Identify and implement the best technical design solutions while adhering to budget and timeline constraints.
  • Promote reuse of existing components and frameworks to enhance efficiency and consistency.
  • Innovate and introduce efficient methods to improve application performance and maintainability.
  • Review and provide feedback on technical designs prepared by other developers, recommending improvements where needed.
  • Evaluate the quality of deliverables and take proactive steps to enhance solution reliability.
  • Conduct and support performance and penetration testing, and troubleshoot system-level issues.
  • Diagnose root causes of application issues and propose corrective solutions.
  • Track and report progress, timelines, and deliverables accurately.
  • Contribute to application lifecycle planning and assist with release management.
  • Identify and coordinate release schedules and service request priorities with stakeholders.
  • Ensure planned releases remain on schedule and align with business objectives.

Requirements

  • Strong experience in application development, coding, testing, and deployment.
  • Ability to design technical solutions, database structures, and application architecture.
  • Skilled in analyzing technical impacts and recommending efficient design options.
  • Experience with performance testing, troubleshooting, and resolving system-level issues.
  • Good understanding of non-functional requirements such as performance, availability, and recoverability.

  • Strong communication and collaboration skills to work with business and technical teams.
