Responsibilities
Responsible for the operational procurement of raw, auxiliary and operating materials (RHB) as well as indirect materials to ensure uninterrupted production processes
Processing orders in line with the requirements of production planning and internal departments
Reviewing order confirmations and pre-accounting of invoices
Monitoring delivery dates and ensuring on-time availability of materials
Ensuring compliance with and implementation of central purchasing policies, guidelines and strategies
Monitoring inventory levels in collaboration with warehouse management and taking measures to prevent shortages
Handling supplier complaints and claims
Maintaining purchasing and material data in the ERP system
Requirements
Completed commercial vocational training or equivalent
Professional experience as a purchasing clerk, preferably in a production/manufacturing environment
Strong organizational skills and a solution-oriented, structured approach to work
Numeracy, confident demeanor and persistence
Excellent communication skills, team orientation and assertiveness
Ability to work effectively in interdisciplinary teams
