About the role
- Mid-level Software Engineer responsible for developing cloud-based healthcare software. Working with agile teams to improve solutions and integrating AI technologies alongside regulatory compliance.
Responsibilities
- Developing and designing solutions as part of an agile team
- Building solutions with regulatory requirements both in the UK and France
- Combining user needs with business requirements and ensuring their technical feasibility
- Working alongside designers, product owners and other team members to identify technical challenges early on and plan new solutions
- Working across the entire application stack with ReactJS, NodeJS, GraphQL, MongoDB, AWS CDK and TypeScript
- Participating in code reviews to ensure code quality and dissemination of knowledge
- Identifying opportunities for development and driving improvement.
Requirements
- Direct experience either building French medical software or working on a regulated product in France
- French / English bilingual a strong plus
- 3+ years professional experience of JavaScript / TypeScript development for Node.js
- Professional experience developing mobile-ready web applications using ReactJS with Typescript
- Familiarity with MobX and Chakra UI would be a plus
- Knowledge of NoSQL databases (we use MongoDB)
- Comfortable with cloud-based applications and infrastructure as code, particularly with AWS
- Committed to producing well tested, maintainable code, experience writing e2e tests
- Experience working with AI technologies, whether in production systems, exploratory projects, or coding assistance tools, is a strong plus.
