About the role

  • Analyze and manage consumer lines of credit, including open-ended HELOCs, ensuring compliance with servicing standards and investor requirements.
  • Utilize MSP’s Consumer Loan Workstation to monitor line functionality, repayment methods, and calculation accuracy.
  • Troubleshoot and reconcile data discrepancies from acquired portfolios and prior servicers.
  • Support loan boarding processes for new lines of credit, ensuring accurate setup and validation.
  • Apply working knowledge of cash application processes to resolve payment issues.
  • Monitor and report on portfolio performance using MSP standard reports and custom dashboards.
  • Collaborate with fraud teams to investigate and mitigate risks associated with advance requests.
  • Assist in the setup and validation of ELOC Plan Headers and ensure proper performance alignment.
  • Identify and escalate billing file discrepancies and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Participate in cross-functional training and documentation efforts.
  • Maintain and update departmental policies and procedures as necessary.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED required; Associate’s degree preferred.
  • Minimum 10 years of experience in consumer lines of credit, with a strong focus on HELOCs.
  • At least 5 years of hands-on experience with MSP, specifically within the Consumer Loan Workstation.
  • Proven ability to manage fraud detection and prevention strategies related to credit advances.
  • Experience with open-ended credit structures and repayment modeling.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, especially in data reconciliation and servicing transitions.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate across departments.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
  • Experience with servicing platforms such as MSP, Black Knight/LPS, and Sagent is preferred.
  • Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
