About the role

  • DevOps Engineer collaborating with IT teams to improve automation and cloud solutions at SEEBURGER. Evaluating new technologies and enhancing DevOps processes in multi-cloud environments.

Responsibilities

  • You support our IT teams in standardizing and further developing our diverse system landscapes
  • In close collaboration with IT and development, you design and implement efficient DevOps processes
  • You evaluate new technologies and develop technical solutions for our multi-cloud environments
  • You expand our DevOps platform and provide training for colleagues
  • You design, develop, and maintain CI/CD pipelines for automated and secure software delivery (e.g., with GitLab CI, Jenkins)
  • You implement Infrastructure-as-Code solutions—such as with Terraform and Ansible—and operate containerized applications in Kubernetes clusters
  • You integrate security requirements into the DevOps process (DevSecOps) and help ensure compliance with governance policies
  • You assist with troubleshooting, incident management, and the continuous optimization of operations
  • You document technical standards and processes and actively share your knowledge with the team

Requirements

  • Several years of professional experience in DevOps, Site Reliability Engineering, or Cloud Engineering
  • Deep expertise in automating infrastructure and deployments using tools such as Ansible, Terraform, Helm, or equivalents
  • Proven experience with CI/CD pipelines, particularly in designing, implementing, and maintaining them—e.g., with Jenkins, GitLab CI, or similar tools
  • Experience working with containerized applications and orchestration solutions such as Kubernetes, ideally including operation, monitoring, and security
  • Very good knowledge of at least one common cloud platform (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP) and experience in building and operating multi-cloud environments
  • Practical experience in monitoring and analyzing systems using tools like Prometheus, Grafana, ELK/EFK, or comparable solutions
  • Programming and scripting skills (preferably Python, Bash, or Go) for automation and process optimization
  • Familiarity with DevSecOps approaches and security considerations in modern infrastructure setups
  • Team-oriented, solution-focused working style with a strong focus on quality and a willingness to share knowledge
  • Experience with agile working methods (e.g., Scrum, Kanban) and the ability to work independently and in a structured manner
