Responsibilities
- Work hand-in-hand with UX designers, product managers, and fellow engineers to develop production-ready web applications.
- Deliver web applications that are secure, scalable, fault-tolerant and performant but also intuitive and visually engaging.
- Transform complex datasets into compelling visual stories.
- Employ a methodical approach to automated tests, ensuring reliable code integrity.
- Collaborate with teammates, share knowledge, and help improve how we build and maintain frontend systems.
- Advocate for tools and frameworks based on their proven ability to solve challenges.
Requirements
- Experience with the React framework and proficiency in TypeScript.
- Familiar with version control systems like GitHub.
- Familiar with translating Figma based design prototypes, with openness to closer, more iterative collaboration with designers.
- Familiar with CSS-in-JS libraries such as Styled Components.
- An advocate and implementer of industry best practices in frontend engineering including automated testing, using frameworks such as Jest and React Testing Library.
