About the role
- Performance Test Engineer for SEB's New Cash Ledger initiative, focusing on performance testing and optimizing core transaction systems. Collaborating with cross-functional teams to enhance application performance.
Responsibilities
- Planning, designing, and executing performance and load tests for applications and integrations.
- Setting up and maintaining test environments, test data, tools, and measurement methods.
- Analysing test results and identifying performance bottlenecks and areas for improvement.
- Collaborating with architects, development teams and operations
- Establishing routines and guidelines for performance testing
Requirements
- Several years of experience in performance and load testing in large IT environments with backend running on Mainframe.
- Strong knowledge of tools such as LoadRunner or JMeter
- Experience in analyzing results using logs and monitoring tools like AppDynamics, Splunk or Grafana
- Understanding of networks, databases (SQL), APIs, mainframe and batches
- Basic knowledge of a scripting or programming language (e.g., Python, JavaScript, or Bash)
- Strong knowledge of the banking or insurance sector is meritorious
