About the role

  • Engineering Manager leading IT Service Quality Management for SEB bank in Latvia. Overseeing incident handling, service desk, and quality management with talented IT teams.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the Service desk, incident handling and monitoring teams, own respective platforms and services
  • Manage services development roadmap and team activities backlog
  • Ensure necessary and up to date team competences
  • Manage relevant assets, expenses, contracts, external supplier services
  • Ensure governance and control requirements are fulfilled in your area
  • Build and maintain relationships with various stakeholders in the company and with vendors

Requirements

  • Passionate for IT service quality management, fast yet secure and controlled service fulfilment
  • Knowledgeable in IT service management methodologies
  • Experienced as a leader for large IT team is a big plus
  • Flexible and willing to take ownership
  • Outgoing & positive team player
  • Diligent, able to work in regulated environment
  • Interested in building relationships in company and outside parties
  • Able to inspire and motivate distributed teams
  • Fluent in English, verbal and written
