Responsibilities
Client Engagement & Solution Design
Partner with Key Account Executives to understand client objectives and design tailored, compliant payroll & HR solutions that clearly link business needs to measurable value.
Lead discovery sessions, workshops, and compelling product demonstrations across SDWorx solutions.
Translate complex technical and functional capabilities into clear commercial outcomes, supporting qualified opportunities and shaping winning solution designs.
Act as the integration and requirements lead across Operations, Implementation, Consultancy, and third-party partners to ensure solutions are feasible, scalable, and aligned to client expectations.
Contribute subject-matter expertise to tenders, proposals, pricing inputs, business cases, and solution documentation.
Technical & Product Expertise
Maintain deep product knowledge across the full SD Worx suite, including interoperability standards and integration pathways with HR, payroll, finance, and time systems.
Manage demo environments, datasets, and technical readiness to ensure high-quality client demonstrations.
Field technical and functional queries from prospects, providing practical, business-relevant answers and guiding clients through technical feasibility.
Liaise closely with Product Management to maintain accurate solution content, influence roadmap development, and provide market insight that shapes future releases.
Uphold SD Worx Security Policies and ensure all engagement activity complies with data, security, and governance standards.
Sales Enablement & Opportunity Acceleration
Create, maintain, and deploy sales-enablement tools, technical FAQs, domain content, and thought-leadership assets to help accelerate sales cycles and unlock stalled opportunities.
Support Sales in qualifying opportunities, positioning competitive strengths, and converting conversations into profitable implementation projects and long-term service contracts.
Provide coaching to Sales teams on solution capabilities, value propositions, and competitive differentiation, onboard new Sales colleagues on technology and product portfolio updates.
Present at marketing events, webinars, industry conferences, and roadshows to support pipeline generation and reinforce SD Worx’s market position.
Maintain a strong awareness of competitor offerings and support Sales teams with competitive solution positioning.
Provide structured and comprehensive handovers to Implementation and Project Management teams, ensuring a seamless transition from sales to delivery.
Work cross-functionally with Operations, Consulting, Support, and Product teams to refine solution scope, validate assumptions, and ensure readiness for successful implementation.
Offer subject matter expertise into project scoping, service model design, integration requirements, and solution governance activities.
Training, Knowledge Sharing & Continuous Development
Participate in structured onboarding, continuous learning, and product/solution upskilling programs.
Share knowledge with Sales, Implementation, and CET teams to promote consistent technical excellence and alignment of customer messaging.
Provide coaching to new and existing team members, contributing to a strong community of practice and continuous improvement of the Pre-Sales function.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent
Extensive experience in a HR Business Consulting or Pre-Sales capacity with an advanced understanding of service and sales principles and practice (5+ years)
An enthusiastic and charismatic evangelist presentation style
Broad knowledge of current HCM market
Experience in the creation of successful Enablement content/tools
Used to meeting demanding, customer-driven deadlines in a high-pressure environment
