About the role

  • Data Lead driving data strategy and innovation in medical imaging at ScreenPoint. Leading data team and collaborating with stakeholders to ensure data quality and compliance.

Responsibilities

  • Proactively define & lead the Data strategy to serve ScreenPoint business needs.
  • Own the end to end data process from the acquisition, governance, and utilization of large-scale medical imaging and clinical datasets from global partners to drive innovation, product excellence, and clinical showcase.
  • Ensure data quality, compliance, and scalability (standardization and traceability processes) aligned with regulatory requirements.
  • Establish data infrastructure and tools for efficient annotation, versioning, and data lifecycle management.
  • Develop, support and maintain partnerships with hospitals, research institutions, and industry collaborators for data acquisition.
  • Drive agreement execution.
  • Responsible for coordination and alignment of Data activities with other teams and departments within ScreenPoint including management.
  • Responsible for managing and mentoring the Data team.
  • Ensuring that Data activities within ScreenPoint are done effectively and in a scalable way to match the company needs for multi-modal, outcomes-centered datasets with high standards of quality.
  • Report data-driven insights and progress to the management team and contribute to strategic decisions.

Requirements

  • Master’s or PhD’s degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Physics, or related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in medical imaging projects involving data science, clinical science, or machine learning, preferably with multi-source clinical and imaging data including mammography, tomosynthesis, or MRI.
  • Knowledge about medical clinical data, how it fits within hospital environments (PACS/RIS), the AI algorithm development process, and clinical research studies.
  • Strong understanding of annotation workflows, data curation for algorithm training and validation, and clinical study design.
  • Strong, proactive leadership with excellent communication.
  • High level of ownership and strong stakeholder management skills to manage different functions (from sales to product) effectively.
