Responsibilities
Ongoing accounting (accounts receivable, accounts payable, general ledger accounts)
Review, coding and posting of incoming and outgoing invoices
Bank and cash postings and account reconciliations
Preparation for month-end and year-end closings
Preparation of documentation for the tax advisor
Travel expense and expense report processing
Maintenance and further development of internal accounting processes
Optional — Payroll: preparation and processing of monthly payroll
Maintenance of employee master data
Communication with health insurance providers, authorities and the tax advisor
Support with payroll-related personnel queries
Requirements
Completed commercial vocational training, further qualification in accounting or equivalent qualification
Several years of experience in financial accounting
Confident user of DATEV (FiBu, Mittelstand Faktura)
Structured, independent and reliable working style
Discretion and a strong sense of responsibility when handling sensitive data
Good German language skills, spoken and written
Nice to have: experience in payroll
Nice to have: experience with digital, paperless accounting processes
Nice to have: experience in start-ups, SMEs or fast-growing companies
