About the role
- Senior Software Engineer in the Core Team developing the backbone of Satispay's payment platform. Involved in designing core systems for high throughput and security.
Responsibilities
- Define the long-term technical vision for critical domains.
- Architect complex subsystems that serve as the foundation for the entire company.
- Design and scale high-throughput engines responsible for transaction ledger and payment orchestration.
- Provide the base infrastructure for Identity and Access Management (IAM).
- Develop and optimize sophisticated services dedicated to managing credit risk and fraud detection.
- Actively define requirements and collaborate with stakeholders to translate high-level objectives into actionable requirements.
- Mentor the next generation of engineers and drive the adoption of AI-powered tools and methodologies.
Requirements
- At least 7 years of related experience in back-end software engineering.
- Proven track record of architecting and maintaining microservices in a high-paced environment.
- Deep experience working with Java and strong understanding of cloud platforms (AWS is a plus).
- Able to communicate in a structured and convincing manner.
- Proven ability to generate intellectual property and thought leadership.
- Passionate about FinTech or startup environments and fluent in English.
