About the role

• Backend Developer building backend services for mobile applications in a hybrid team. Collaborating with cross-functional teams to refine and tune application integrations.

Responsibilities

• Developing backend services for our mobile apps from the ground up
• Refine, and tune integrations between applications
• Bring new technology and ideas to the table
• Influence cross-team initiatives and mentor mind and junior backend engineers
• Participate in planning meetings, estimate tasks, do code reviews, and code in pairs
• Deploy, optimize and scale deep learning models

Requirements

• BS or MS degree in Computer Science, Engineering or related field
• 2+ years of experience in software engineering
• Preferably proficient with Node.js, designing and developing REST APIs, AWS environment, CDN (Amazon Cloudfront etc.) experienced in technologies.
• Good understanding of OOP, Design Patterns, Clean Code concepts
• Good understanding of fundamental design principles for a scalable application
• Experience with both relational and non relational databases
• Experience designing and implementing CI/CD pipelines
• Experience in applying AI to real world problems
• Experience in python and python virtual environments
• Experience in deploying deep learning models on cloud platforms in a scalable way
• Understanding basic concepts about deep learning, computer vision, large language models
• Strong analytical and time management skills
• Experience with working in an agile environment
