About the role

• Developing SAP MM Inhouse Consultant at SAPPLIER responsible for material management solutions and 2nd level support. Collaborating with departments and managing interfaces in a hybrid work environment.

Responsibilities

• You are responsible for the design, development, commissioning, maintenance and continuous enhancement of materials management within our S/4 system landscape.
• You act as a business partner to the specialist departments and support them as part of 2nd level support.
• Project work in the SAP environment and, where required, support in other SAP modules complete your area of responsibility.
• You are also responsible for the API/REST and CSV interfaces to satellite systems.

Requirements

• You have completed training as an IT specialist (Fachinformatiker) or a comparable vocational qualification in the IT field.
• You have gained relevant professional experience in SAP application development (ABAP, ABAP-OO) and in supporting the MM module through your involvement in various IT projects.
• You possess extensive process know-how and strong abstraction skills, both of which you have already demonstrated independently.
• You present yourself confidently with clear communication skills.
• You know how to explain complex issues in a manner appropriate for the target audience.
• Good English skills and a confident command of MS Office are required.
• Ideally, you also have experience with the procurement applications Coupa and/or Ariba and with collaboration platforms such as Jira and/or Azure DevOps.
