Responsibilities
- Manage and maintain the SAP system landscape
- Plan and coordinate updates/upgrades of SAP software
- Monitor system performance and perform performance tuning measures
- Implement and manage security policies
- Analyze and resolve technical issues and system outages
- Oversee the planning and execution of backup and recovery processes
- Create and maintain technical documentation and operational manuals
- Work closely with IT departments and business units
- Manage and coordinate hosting service providers
- Provide technical support.
Requirements
- Degree in Computer Science, Business Informatics, or a comparable qualification
- Several years of professional experience (at least 5 years) in SAP Basis administration
- In-depth knowledge of SAP NetWeaver, Fiori Launchpad, and modern SAP technologies in the SAP HANA environment
- Experience with operating systems (e.g., Windows, Linux) and SAP HANA databases
- Knowledge of user and authorization management is desirable
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Strong communication skills, team orientation, and a structured way of working
- Good German language skills, both written and spoken.
