About the role

• ABAP Inhouse Developer responsible for the conception and development of material management in SAP S/4HANA. Supporting departments and managing interfaces with satellite systems.

Responsibilities

• You are responsible for the design, development, commissioning, maintenance and continuous enhancement of Materials Management within our S/4 system landscape.
• You advise the business department as a business partner and support them in 2nd level support.
• Project work in the SAP environment and, as required, support in other SAP modules round off your responsibilities.
• The API/REST and CSV interfaces to satellite systems are also your responsibility.

Requirements

• You have successfully completed training as an IT specialist (Fachinformatiker) or a comparable vocational qualification in the IT field.
• You have gained relevant professional experience in SAP application development (ABAP, ABAP-OO) and in supporting the MM module through involvement in various IT projects.
• You possess extensive process know-how and strong abstraction skills, both of which you have already demonstrated independently.
• You present yourself confidently and communicate clearly.
• You know how to formulate complex issues appropriately for different target audiences.
• Good English skills and confident use of MS Office are required.
• Ideally, you also have experience with the procurement applications Coupa and/or Ariba as well as with the collaboration platforms Jira and/or Azure DevOps.
