Responsibilities
- Develop, fix, and maintain legacy systems in a Mainframe environment;
- Work with COBOL, JCL, and handling sequential files;
- Use SQL and DB2/HPU for data processing and queries;
- Operate and monitor jobs in scheduling tools such as CONTROL‑M and IWS;
- Work with various utilities (HPU, SORT, PLAN, among others);
- Interact with environment-specific systems and tools such as HexaVision, TSO, CDES;
- Actively participate in ceremonies and processes within agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban, etc.).
Requirements
- Minimum of 2 years of hands-on experience with:
- COBOL;
- JCL;
- Mainframe utilities (HPU, SORT, PLAN...);
- Sequential files;
- DB2 (via HPU) and SQL;
- CONTROL‑M and/or IWS;
- Environment tools (HexaVision, TSO, CDES, among others);
- Working in agile teams.
- Knowledge of VSAM;
- Experience with ADABAS/Natural.
