About the role
- Application Engineer collaborating with global customers to provide technical solutions for MV motor products at Innomotics. Involves real-time enquiry handling, technical presentations, and customer coordination.
Responsibilities
- Coordination with regional sales team, Global Account managers and customers for new RFQ handling.
- New enquiries handling, segregation, prepare comments and deviations on the customer specifications.
- Plan and conduct co-ordination meeting with region sales, Account Managers and application center for review of new enquiry.
- Working with engineering team to provide optimized technical solutions to customers.
- Selection of listed appropriate options (features) in tool, cost calculations sheet preparation.
- Preparation and submission of techno commercial offer to customers.
- Order Acquisition stage- creating push with technical presentations.
- Resolution of technical queries upon receipt of same from customer.
- Regular update of enquiry tracking system.
- Independently serve enquiries and submit offers (without support from Factory QC/Q Engg) for the named accounts.
- Direct communication with customer and submit the offer directly on behalf of Innomotics regions.
- Become a technical consultant for customers and support them on quick clarifications and price indications.
Requirements
- Candidate should have a minimum experience of 10 years along with B.E/B.Tech - Electrical/ power electronics.
- Experience in SAP - Proficiency, Materials management skills, contract management etc.
- Good written & verbal Communication Skills
- Strong knowledge in medium voltage motors with relevant IEC / IS reference standards
- Comfortable with direct communication with customers, specially, OEMs application engineers
- Good knowledge of Non-Safe Area (Ex, Exn, Exp) motors classification & zone areas
- Strong hold on Microsoft office excel, PowerPoint presentation and linked formulas
- Intermediate knowledge on Microsoft power tools
- Very good entrepreneurship skills with growth mindset
- Strategic thinking.
- Ability to multitask and willingness to accept undesignated special tasks.
