Responsibilities
Assess and implement behavior programming.
Create behavior plans and provide training.
Offer direct support services when needed.
Manage paperwork, billing, and regulatory compliance.
Use crisis management skills and physical interventions when necessary.
Set and maintain a positive culture within the team.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree or above in relevant field is required (Human Services or equivalent)
Must have reliable transportation, a valid driver's license, and a willingness to transport individuals in services in your vehicle
In order to provide transportation, the candidate must be 18 years of age or older.
Able to perform the physical demands of the position may include but are not limited to: Physically intervening with at-risk adults that pose a safety threat to themselves or others utilizing NVCI-approved techniques,
Working with unpredictable and aggressive individuals and may be expected to be alone with them in the community or in their homes,
Maintaining calm and professionally intervening with people with disabilities during escalated/crisis moments.
Comprehensive training provided to ensure confidence and comfort implementing support plans.
Due to the nature of the work performed at Sample Supports, a criminal background check is required.
