About the role
- Developer in Robot Process Automation at KHS, specializing in AI and process automation. Driving RPA solutions from development to implementation in the beverage and liquid food industry.
Responsibilities
- Develop, implement, and test RPA solutions to automate business processes — from requirements gathering through to go-live
- Enhance and optimize existing RPA solutions for stability, performance, and maintainability
- Deploy, operate, and monitor automation solutions in the KHS UiPath Orchestrator
- Integrate AI-based components (e.g., document processing or generative AI) into RPA processes and further develop these solutions, including prompt creation and fine-tuning
- Create and continuously improve standardized RPA libraries for cross-functional use
- Collaborate within the project team to identify and design new automation opportunities
- Conduct training sessions, workshops, and short enablement sessions to build internal RPA competency
- Support other business units with process analysis and implementation of automation options
Requirements
- Degree in Computer Science, Business Informatics, or a comparable qualification
- Practical experience with RPA tools such as UiPath, Blue Prism, Automation Anywhere, or similar solutions
- Experience in developing, testing, and operating automation solutions
- Strong interest in process automation and emerging technologies such as AI agents, machine learning, or Intelligent Character Recognition (ICR)
- Good programming skills (e.g., Python / JavaScript) are desirable
- Willingness to continuously expand and apply programming skills, also beyond RPA
- Good technical understanding to analyze day-to-day business processes and identify automation potential
- Good written and spoken German and English
- Hands-on mentality with an independent and structured way of working
