About the role

  • Finance & Strategy Senior Manager leading strategic financial processes for Salesforce's Go-To-Market Planning. Collaborating across multiple organizational functions and providing analytical decision support.

Responsibilities

  • Own Sales annual budget management and Plan processes including quarterizing budget targets, managing risks & opportunities, leading reviews with senior leadership as needed
  • Partner with the Sales organization to manage strategic spend and headcount resources including but not limited to Recruiting, Headcount Management (HCM), and Global Sales Strategy
  • Own key deliverables for the Company’s Board of Directors & lead the development of peer benchmarking analyses to compare Salesforce against its peer group and partner Corporate Finance to drive & deliver insights
  • Support Salesforce’s quarterly external earnings process in partnership with the Corporate Finance team & Investor Relations by providing insights on total company Sales & Marketing spend as % of Revenue and other key Sales metrics
  • Create and present ad hoc financial & scenario analysis including but not limited to business cases, Country/Segment/OU investment models, strategic spend, and expense trends to senior leadership
  • Develop & maintain a consolidated Sales Forecasting Model including OU mapping to drive alignment, accountability, and transparency across the Sales Organization
  • Develop a strong understanding of the Salesforce business model and translate the impact of changes in key inputs on the Company’s overall financials
  • Build & maintain cross functional relationships with the broader F&S team

Requirements

  • Bachelors Degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting or related relevant areas or equivalent relevant experience required.
  • 8+ years of work experience in analytically demanding financial or strategic services role
  • Strong Excel modeling skills for developing complex financial analyses and decision support models
  • Strong analytical and problem solving skills
  • Ability to deal with a fast moving dynamic environment with high degree of ambiguity and constant change
  • Ability to work cross functionally and influence appropriately
  • Intellectually curious, fueled by a proactive approach to continuously expand one’s skillset.
