About the role
- Senior Staff Engineer developing cutting-edge technology in Identity Security team. Collaborating with international teams and leading technical efforts for high-quality software delivery in a hybrid environment.
Responsibilities
- Partner with cross-functional teams to design, build, and deliver high-quality software.
- Provide hands-on technical leadership, ensuring the team focuses on the right problems and builds practical, right-sized solutions without adding unnecessary complexity.
- Review code and offer constructive, actionable feedback to maintain high engineering standards.
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues across the stack.
- Lead POCs, research new tools, frameworks, and methodologies to enhance team efficiency.
- Thrive in a dynamic environment, staying effective while juggling multiple concurrent priorities.
Requirements
- 8+ years of software development experience
- Strong experience with C#, .NET, and SQL
- Experience working at scale with cloud providers such as AWS
- Knowledge of containerization and orchestration tools (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes)
- Understanding of modern architectural patterns for SaaS systems (e.g., microservices, event-driven design, distributed systems)
- Strong communications skills, including the ability to understand stakeholder needs and persuasively articulate technical solutions at the appropriate level of technical depth
- Excellent interpersonal skills and a positive, "can-do" attitude
- Independent, highly motivated engineer who drives work forward with minimal oversight
- Not required, but great if you have: Familiarity with big data ecosystems, including Airflow-based ETL workflows, data lake architectures, or platforms like Snowflake, Databricks, or cloud-native data-lake services
- Experience with JavaScript and modern UI frameworks (React, Angular) is a plus.
- Hands-on experience building and tracking service-level objectives (SLOs) with contemporary monitoring/observability platforms (e.g., Grafana, Prometheus, Datadog)
