About the role
- Engineering Manager leading a team of 15-20 developers at SAFTI. Collaborating closely with feature teams to coordinate developments and align product roadmaps.
Responsibilities
- As an Engineering Manager, you will have the opportunity to make your mark by managing and developing a team of 15–20 developers.
- You will work closely with feature teams (Product Owner, Lead Dev, QA, SRE…) to coordinate development, align product roadmaps with architectural and quality priorities, and enable a smooth development cycle, for example through optimized CI/CD.
- Your technical background will be valuable when contributing to architectural decisions while embodying a facilitator role within the team.
- The role does not require being hands-on.
- You will also play a key role in developers' career development (regular coaching, establishing a supportive working framework, objective and shared performance reviews, selecting training and conferences…) and in recruiting future talent.
- You will actively contribute to co-constructing the service organization.
Requirements
- You excel in modern management, adopting the roles of facilitator, coach and leader.
- You have outstanding analytical and synthesis skills, and excellent communication, cross-functional management, and coordination abilities.
- A technical background in application development is an additional asset (PHP - Symfony / JavaScript - React).
- You have a solid understanding of Agile/SCRUM and DevOps concepts, and your curiosity drives you to stay up to date with the latest trends and to proactively propose improvements.
- Fluency in English is essential, as we are expanding internationally.
