About the role

• DevOps Engineer responsible for maintaining FME infrastructure and development pipelines at Safe Software. Collaborate in an agile team focused on constant improvement and automation.

Responsibilities

• Developing and maintaining software tools that aid our FME development teams.
• Practicing Kanban style Agile Development with Jira
• Researching and Learning new tools and technologies
• Managing automation pipelines via Jenkins
• Participate in team meetings to provide updates and report newly-identified issues
• Collaborate with Product Owners and Development teams in order to plan upcoming projects effectively
• Utilizing Cloud Infrastructure for testing and development.

Requirements

• A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and related experience.
• 2-4 years of DevOps and Platform Engineering or related work experience
• You are familiar with scripting languages such as Python, Powershell and/or Bash
• Knowledge or experience with Docker and or Kubernetes.
• Knowledge or experience with Cloud Platforms: Amazon AWS, Google Cloud Platform, Microsoft Azure.
• You have a working knowledge of databases and SQL.
• You are self-motivated and proactive, with a strong desire to learn new tools and the latest technologies.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Excellent planning, organizational and time management skills.

• You are a critical thinker with a curious mind and a love for problem solving.
