About the role

  • Data Engineer responsible for creating analytical data infrastructure at Safe-Guard Products International. Collaborating with teams to gather and model data for analytics with top automotive clients.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the technical expert for creating Safe-Guard’s analytical data infrastructure.
  • Develop extensive ETL processes to take data from across different systems and bring them into centralized data models.
  • Develop and implement automated data quality control processes.

Requirements

  • 4+ years working in data or analytics role.
  • Extensive experience in data modeling and data infrastructure.
  • B.S. in mathematics, computer science, statistics, engineering, or equivalent.
  • M.S. in mathematics, computer science, statistics, engineering, or equivalent (preferred).
  • Expert proficiency in SQL, Python, and Git.
  • Experience using common data orchestration tools such as dbt and Airflow.
  • Working knowledge of common database platforms such as Snowflake, Postgres, and AWS.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
