Responsibilities
Oversee a team of Senior Consultants/Consultants to deliver property tax consulting services for assigned clients
Maintain existing client relationships and focus on property tax management and minimization opportunities
Review and evaluate appeal positions, make appeal recommendations and manage the appeal process for clients
Enforce policies, standards and guidelines, research tax issues, review valuations of real property
Negotiate assessment reduction and settlements, prepare and present assessment appeals and supporting litigation
Create positive team member experiences leading to excellent client service
Manage all aspects of the annual property tax cycle for assigned real property portfolios
Requirements
University Degree, College Diploma, or equivalent in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, Economics, Real Estate, Business Management or other degree with MBA, MST or JD required
At least four years property tax-related experience required
Candidates with appropriate valuation designations preferred
Demonstrated leadership, problem-solving, and strong verbal and written communication skills
Ability to prioritize tasks, work on multiple assignments, and manage ambiguity
Ability to work both independently and as part of a team with professionals at all levels
Valid driver’s license required
Manager should maintain professional designations such as Certified Member of the Institute (CMI), and Certified Commercial Investment Member (CCIM), or equivalent
