Responsibilities
- Demonstrate Technical Leadership by driving design, development, integration, and testing to meet performance requirements
- Ensure contractual commitments for cost, schedule, and technical performance are met for their assigned scope
- Coordinate and align cross-functional teams to work cohesively towards common goals
- Provide clear, concise status updates, technical details, risks, and solutions to program managers
- Develop and execute program plans and budgets
- Make subsystem decisions and guide the team
- Partner with leads to provide cost-effective technical solutions
- Early identification of risks and opportunities, along with mitigation plans
- Responsible for proposal efforts, negotiations, and reviews for any new scope
Requirements
- Typically requires a degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM)
- Minimum 10 years’ of prior work experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field with minimum 7 years’ of prior work experience
- Minimum seven (7) years of prior work experience to include experience with project/program management tools, systems, and/or methodologies
- Experience with Earned Value Management System (EVMS)
- Experience with Integrated Master Plan (IMP) / Integrated Master Schedule (IMS)
- Experience with Risk and Opportunity Management
- Experience with proposal or capture efforts
- Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued Secret security clearance post-start
