About the role
- Supply Chain Compliance Specialist managing compliance audits and procurement processes for RTX Corporation. Ensuring adherence to FAR regulations and engaging with stakeholders across services operations.
Responsibilities
- Routine surveillance of Supply Chain procedures, procurement systems and policies, and executed purchase orders for all domestic Enterprise Services locations.
- Evaluate existing processes and recommend process improvements including individual buyer responsibilities, operational directives, and formal work instructions.
- Directly and indirectly support mission-critical government and Company audits of varying size and complexity.
- Support Supply Chain Governance to verify and validate the effectiveness of corrective action plans and institutionalization of changes.
- Engage stakeholders to coordinate input and support alignment with Enterprise Services governance documentation.
- Participate in the development and maintenance of Enterprise Services related processes & systems.
- Generate metrics and perform risk analysis.
- Work and interface with all levels of Internal/External Customers & Government Personnel.
- Clearly and concisely communicate compliance requirements and responsibilities of Supply Chain and Enterprise Services to audiences of varying degrees.
- Provide training/presentations on procurement systems and policies to small and large groups.
Requirements
- Typically requires a University Degree or equivalent experience and minimum 5 years prior relevant experience, or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 3 years experience.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Supply Chain Compliance auditor, or Supply Chain Procurement Professional, or a combination of both.
- Knowledge of Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR) as it pertains to Government Contract Compliance and/or Government Procurement, including Cost Accounting Standards (CAS) and Truthful Cost or Pricing Data (TCPD) regulations and Department of Defense FAR Supplement (DFARS).
- Experience with procurement processes, investigations, or resolution of complex procurement process issues in a compliant manner.
- Experience with PRISM or SAP, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
- Experience representing the organization on major matters pertaining to its policies, plans, and objectives.
- Ability to work independently to make sound decisions that affect the supply chain organizations positively.
- Ability to elevate issues to management and offer recommendations/solutions.
- Experience working with colleagues to effect solutions to complex compliance requirements and needs.
