About the role
- Senior Project Engineer providing comprehensive Project Engineering support for Environmental and Aircraft Control Systems. Leading multifunctional teams to efficiently manage project requirements and milestones.
Responsibilities
- Lead SRI burndown to ensure efficient execution
- Coordinate efforts that can include engineering changes to address SRIs
- Create presentations and reports for RM & Pack leadership
- Act as a liaison between RM & Pack and GETC-PR SRI supporting organization
- Work closely with a multifunctional team to meet defined requirements
- Provide Project Engineering support as needed
Requirements
- Typically requires a degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM)
- Minimum 5 years prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 3 years of experience
- Experience managing and leading multifunction Engineering projects
- Demonstrated professional experience communicating in English (verbal and written)
- Aerospace or defense experience preferred
- Strong leadership skills to guide cross-functional teams
- Proven ability to convey project status, risks, and solutions to senior leadership and customers
- Experience creating clear, concise, and well-structured technical documents
