Responsibilities
Manage a team responsible for the development, implementation and measurement of comprehensive communications plans that drive RTX and BU OSC strategic priorities.
Lead executive communications for RTX and BU Operations leaders and serve as a strategic advisor for multiple senior stakeholders.
Develop and deliver high-impact communications that amplify the voices of senior leaders, aligning messaging with the company’s commitment to operational excellence and execution.
Lead complex, cross-functional projects from start to finish with precision, ensuring seamless collaboration across direct and matrixed teams, alignment with senior stakeholders, and integration of enterprise and BU communications strategies.
Drive change communications to support transformational projects, equipping leaders and employees with the tools to effectively navigate change while ensuring alignment to RTX’s strategic goals.
Maintain a deep understanding of business performance, market dynamics, and stakeholder expectations to ensure communication remains timely, relevant, and meaningful.
Create and manage content for internal communications channels, such as intranet articles, newsletters, emails and presentations.
Bolster employee engagement by creating communications strategies that reinforce RTX’s values, culture, and strategic goals.
Leverage data and analytics to measure the effectiveness of communication strategies, identify trends, and refine plans and messaging to maximize employee engagement and business impact.
Drive innovation by leveraging emerging digital platforms, tools, and techniques to enhance employee engagement and streamline message delivery.
Travel required: 20-25%
Requirements
Typically requires a University Degree and minimum 12 years prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 10 years of experience or in absence of a degree, 16 years of relevant experience
Demonstrated experience in developing and executing employee communication strategies with measurable outcomes that align with business goals, including leveraging digital platforms and analytics to optimize impact.
Proven expertise in executive communications within corporate or highly regulated industries, with excellent writing and editing skills and a focus on delivering high-quality work.
Ability to build strong relationships, collaborate with cross-functional teams and senior leaders, and translate complex ideas into clear, concise messaging.
Skilled at prioritizing multiple projects in a fast-paced environment, meeting tight deadlines, and driving continuous improvement through feedback collection, metrics, and analytics.
