About the role

  • Data Engineer designing and managing multi-cloud architectures on AWS, GCP, and Azure for rapidly growing consulting firm Rox Partner. Collaborating with teams to optimize cloud applications and workloads.

Responsibilities

  • Design, deploy, and manage multi-cloud architectures with a focus on AWS, GCP, and Azure.
  • Collaborate with development, operations, and security teams to optimize applications and workloads.
  • Monitor and maintain the performance, availability, and integrity of cloud services.
  • Automate tasks and processes using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools (Terraform, CloudFormation, ARM/Bicep, Deployment Manager).
  • Implement security and compliance practices (IAM, encryption, hardening, ISO 27001, LGPD - Brazilian General Data Protection Law).
  • Manage containers and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes – EKS, GKE, AKS).
  • Support incident response and troubleshooting in distributed environments, ensuring a fast and effective reaction.
  • Optimize cloud costs by tracking billing and implementing FinOps strategies.
  • Document architectures, processes, and incidents, ensuring clear communication with stakeholders.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • Hands-on experience in AWS, GCP, and Azure environments (preferably multi-cloud).
  • Knowledge of designing HA/DR architectures, cloud-native, and event-driven systems.
  • Experience with CI/CD, automation, and scripting (Python/Shell).
  • Knowledge of networking, VPNs, firewalls, load balancers, and cloud security.
  • Experience with monitoring, logging, metrics, and incident management in cloud environments.
  • Strong analytical, proactive, and organized profile, with the ability to work in multidisciplinary teams.
  • Desirable: Certifications in AWS, GCP, Azure, or OCI.
  • Experience with data center migrations to the cloud.
  • Experience in regulated and enterprise environments.
  • Knowledge of data architecture and analytics.
