About the role

Senior Product Engineer at Rohlik Group delivering complex technical missions and leading engineering practices. Involving mentoring engineers, system design contributions, and ensuring project success at the tech team.

Responsibilities

Drive mission-critical outcomes by dedicating at least 50% of your capacity to leading a key mission as its designated Epic Owner, ensuring its successful delivery.
Elevate engineering standards by leading at least two impactful Technical Guild initiatives per year that result in new practices being adopted across multiple teams.
Set the bar for excellence by consistently exceeding the core expectations of the Product Engineer role, maintaining top-tier metrics in delivery (>95% on-time) and quality (zero critical bugs).
Multiply team capability by mentoring junior engineers, providing technical guidance, conducting constructive code reviews, and fostering their professional growth.
Contribute to system design and architectural discussions, ensuring solutions are scalable, maintainable, and robust.
Proactively identify and address technical debt and areas for process improvement to enhance overall engineering effectiveness.

5+ years of professional software development experience, with a proven track record of delivering complex projects.
Demonstrated experience in leading technical projects or features from concept to launch.
Deep expertise in system design, data modeling, and application architecture.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with experience mentoring other engineers.
Strong project management and organizational skills to manage large-scale missions effectively.
Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field. (Preferred)
Experience presenting technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences. (Preferred)
Active participation in technical communities or open-source projects. (Preferred)
