About the role
- Windchill QA Engineer responsible for validation, testing, and automation in PLM environment at Rockwell Automation. Collaborating with teams to enhance product lifecycle management capabilities.
Responsibilities
- Design and execute test plans, test cases, and test scripts for Windchill environment.
- Validate functional requirements through solution testing for new enhancement requests.
- Perform regression testing and defect validation using tools like Azure DevOps, qTest and Tosca.
- Document test results, defects, and corrective actions in Azure DevOps or equivalent platforms.
- Collaborate with Windchill developers and architects to ensure test coverage aligns with business requirements.
- End-to-end testing process ownership, including management of UATs with the business stakeholders
- Drive and contribute to the Test Automation strategy for the platform
- Participate in SAFe ceremonies (daily synchs, sprint planning, backlog grooming).
- Seek improvement opportunities in QA processes and automation.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
- 5+ years of experience in Windchill testing, validation, or QA roles.
- Knowledge of PLM/Windchill capabilities including Part, BOM, Document, CAD, visualization, and Change Management.
- Familiarity with Windchill configuration elements: ACLs, OIRs, lifecycles, workflows, types, and attributes.
- On-hands experience with test automation tools and scripting (e.g., Tosca, qTest).
- Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies and enterprise DevOps practices
- Fluent in English (C1).
