About the role

  • Legal Operations Specialist supporting the Employment Legal team by managing cases and ensuring collaboration. Focusing on efficient legal admin support, compliance coordination, and project management.

Responsibilities

  • Draft, review, and format legal documents, correspondence, and presentations.
  • Manage employment intakes, conduct initial reviews, and track response timelines.
  • Maintain organized files, documentation, and correspondence in Google Drive.
  • Schedule legal proceedings, meetings, mediations, and depositions.
  • Support invoice management with outside counsel and vendors.
  • Maintain case files for employment litigation, arbitrations, agency charges, and investigations.
  • Track deadlines, filings, and statutes of limitations.
  • Coordinate discovery, including document collection, review, and production.
  • Assist with pleadings, motions, briefs, and court filings.
  • Act as liaison with outside counsel to ensure efficiency and compliance.
  • Support internal investigations by coordinating documents and scheduling interviews.
  • Assist with compliance initiatives and employment law training materials.
  • Maintain resources and best practices for HR and management teams.
  • Develop and manage project plans, timelines, and deliverables for key initiatives.
  • Identify and resolve blockers to ensure progress.
  • Build and maintain relationships with stakeholders to align priorities.
  • Conduct retrospectives to capture lessons learned and process improvements.

Requirements

  • Experience in legal operations, litigation support, or employment law administration.
  • Strong organizational and project management skills with attention to detail.
  • Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion and confidentiality.
  • Excellent communication skills and stakeholder management abilities.
  • Proficiency with Google Workspace and legal document management systems.
