About the role

• FullStack Senior developing end-to-end React and Node functionalities for Riachuelo’s diverse ecosystem. Responsible for APIs, integration, and maintaining performance and quality.

Responsibilities

• Develop and evolve end-to-end features, working autonomously on both frontend (React) and backend (Node.js).
• Design, implement and maintain GraphQL APIs, ensuring scalability, performance and alignment with product needs.
• Consistently define and evolve schemas, queries, mutations and resolvers, following best practices and considering impact on the ecosystem.
• Work occasionally with REST APIs, particularly for maintenance, legacy integrations or specific requirements.
• Ensure efficient integration between frontend, backend and database, with a focus on quality, security and performance.
• Build reusable, responsive and high-performance interfaces, prioritizing user experience and maintainability.
• Identify, fix and prevent bugs, and propose continuous improvements to performance, stability and observability.
• Actively participate in code reviews, contributing to code quality and the team’s technical growth.
• Participate in agile rituals, collaborating on technical estimates, refinements and planning.
• Work closely with Product, UX and QA to help translate business requirements into robust technical solutions.
• Support technical decisions, impact analysis and the definition of approaches for more complex tasks.

Requirements

• Practical expertise in Node.js (Express, NestJS or similar).
• Consistent experience with React.js (Hooks, Context API, Redux or equivalent approaches).
• Solid experience with GraphQL, including schema definition and evolution, implementation of queries, mutations and resolvers, and efficient frontend integration.
• Advanced knowledge of JavaScript (ES6+) and/or TypeScript.
• Experience with relational and/or non-relational databases, understanding modeling and performance implications.
• Knowledge of REST APIs, even if not the primary focus of day-to-day work.
• Practical experience with automated testing and a strong focus on quality.
• Experience with Git in collaborative environments.
• Basic knowledge of cloud environments and deployments.
• Familiarity with simple CI/CD pipelines.
