About the role
- Technology Intern supporting data analytics initiatives at Rexford Industrial. Collaborating with the Technology team and building Power BI solutions.
Responsibilities
- Partner with the Technology team and business stakeholders to support data connectivity between HR Systems and 3rd Party applications.
- Support development of Rex360, a one stop shop for Rexford’s property and portfolio data
- Collaborate with the Technology team to prototype Copilot enabled AI agents that interact with data models and dashboards to enhance insight delivery
- Build, enhance, and maintain Power BI reports and dashboards using SQL and DAX
- Support analytics, reporting, and data automation initiatives across the organization
- Assist with documenting data models, dashboards, and analytics solutions to support broader adoption and reuse
Requirements
- Currently pursuing a degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Information Technology, or a related field
- Strong interest in data analytics, Power BI, and DAX, Power Apps
- Familiarity with SQL (Azure SQL / TSQL preferred)
- Familiarity with developing against Rest APIs
- Understanding of AI concepts and tools, ideally Microsoft Copilot
- Analytical mindset with strong attention to detail
- Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively across technical and non‑technical team
- Must be currently enrolled in an accredited college or university at the time of application and throughout the duration of the internship.
