Responsibilities
Field sales specialist for business and key accounts in the civil engineering trade, including proactive sales activities and management of supplier relationships, procurement and price negotiations for both stock and project business
Prepare project-specific quotations, follow up on offers and actively secure orders
Collaborate with site management / regional sales management and central purchasing to drive the strategic realignment of civil engineering in the East sales region
Maintain existing customer relationships and build new customer and industrial partnerships within the newly established sales region (working together with the civil engineering team from inside sales and quotation processing)
Contribute to planning and implementing sales and marketing strategies, and organize and deliver marketing activities, training and technical events
Support assortment and sales strategy for the sales region while monitoring inventory levels and ensuring efficient stock control (regional key warehouse), in coordination with purchasing
Requirements
Successfully completed commercial or technical training in the construction or trade sector, or equivalent qualifications
Professional experience in selling construction materials for civil engineering (sewer and road construction), preferably from project- or site-based business
Ability to work independently and to motivate and work within a team in the construction trade
Strong customer orientation, assertiveness and team spirit
Result- and target-oriented mindset in commercial sales
Confident use of ERP systems and Office tools; willingness to travel regionally
German language skills at native level
