About the role

  • Kotlin Developer developing and maintaining backend services using Kotlin for energy management solutions. Collaborating in an Agile environment with teams across multiple functions.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain backend services using Kotlin and Spring Boot
  • Participate in architectural discussions and technical decision-making
  • Collaborate with DevOps, Frontend, and QA teams
  • Contribute to code reviews and continuous improvement initiatives
  • Work in an Agile environment using Jira and Confluence

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
  • Several years of professional experience with Kotlin
  • Strong experience with Spring Boot
  • Fluent English
  • Good German skills are a strong advantage
  • Structured, proactive, and solution-oriented working style
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team
  • Additional skills that would be a strong advantage:
  • • Experience with Java
  • • Knowledge of cloud and container technologies such as Docker, AWS, and Kubernetes
  • • Familiarity with modern frontend frameworks, ideally ReactJS
