About the role

  • Account Manager for Sickle Cell blood drive partnerships contributing to diverse collections. Collaborating with volunteers to make a positive impact in the community at the American Red Cross.

Responsibilities

  • Develop partnerships with African American current and potential blood drive coordinators
  • Grow diverse blood collection targets for area blood drives
  • Collaborate with diverse volunteers
  • Engage in outside sales as a Sickle Cell Account Manager
  • Work closely within a team to make a positive community impact
  • Travel to sites throughout the Red Cross organization as needed

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree required
  • Minimum one-year related experience required or equivalent combination of education and related experience required
  • Knowledge of group dynamics, direct sales, customer maintenance techniques, negotiation skills
  • Good organizational skills and ability to handle multiple priorities effectively
  • Excellent oral and written communications skills, including training and presentation skills
  • A current valid driver's license and good driving record
